NEWS BRIEF: TF1’s Histoire TV in France has picked up limited documentary series Cole: Al Qaeda’s Strike Before 9/11 from New York-based Big Media, the producer behind docs Spy Ops and Spycraft (both Netflix), and CIA vs Bin Laden: First In (Reelz).
The 3×60’ series delves into Al Qaeda’s October 2000 strike on the US Navy Guided Missile Destroyer Cole in Yemen. The announcement was made today by BIG Media CEO Jon Loew and the show will debut on Histoire TV in October.
