SYNOPSIS:

On January 31, 2013 Kaufman County District Attorney Mark Hasse is assassinated outside the courthouse in broad daylight. The killer, disguised in a black hoodie and grim reaper mask, flees the scene after shooting Hasse in the back of the head. Investigators focus on the Aryan Brotherhood prison gang, which Hasse had a long history of prosecuting. Weeks after the murder of Hasse, District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife are found dead in their home. The murder cases go cold for weeks until a forensics expert from the Texas Rangers named Rudy Flores, connects the murders to one of their colleagues from within the courthouse.
